The Colorado Springs Heart Ball will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2016!
A Celebration of creating and sharing. Our evening celebrates our work and mission, our donors and volunteers, and — most importantly — the lives saved and improved because of everyone’s effort. The Heart Ball promises to be an engaging evening of fun and passion bringing community and philanthropic leaders together. Last year, our Heart Ball campaign raised just over $71 million nation-wide allowing us to fund life-saving research and prevention programs in our community and across the country.
Through the Looking Glass, this year’s theme is focused on creating a future of health, what you do today can impact your tomorrow. Funds raised through the 33rd Annual Colorado Springs Heart Ball supports many local efforts in Colorado. Some of the incredible things our Colorado Spring's Office does each year with funds raised through the Heart Ball include:
- Investing $10.6 million in cardiovascular research in Colorado
- Working with all local hospitals to strengthen patient care standards
- We've recognized 9 Fit-Friendly companies who are working to improve the health of their employees
- Enlisting 100+ healthcare & EMS volunteers to speed care for heart attack patients
- 34,636 local children participated in Jump Rope For Heart and Hoops For Heart with 75 schools receiving educational materials and health lesson plans.
- Providing 14,474 materials to teach CPR & Emergency Cardiovascular Care
